Janice started showing her passion for the media world when she was 4 years old participating in beauty pageants. The Dominican born began her television career at Univision New England as an intern where she offered to work for free to show her love passion for journalism. Soon after she was hired as an entertainment and weather reporter. In 2009, her striking look landed her a spot on the National reality show Nuestra Belleza Latina. A fan favorite, she placed as prominent finalist. In 2013, Janice moved to New York and joined Telemundo47 as weather/traffic anchor and feature reporter. 2017, Janice started to cover national weather and feature stories for Telemundo's morning show "Un Nuevo Día". Now Bencosme is base in California working for Univision. However, her adventure heart and thirst for growing is looking for new endeavor and challenges that is why she created this page to connect directly with her audience talk and write about the environment, weather, news, sustainable fashion and clothing.
